All Local District Central schools will connect each Black student with a device, a hotspot/connectivity and support and guidance as appropriate with the purpose of successful engagement.

Principals will connect and engage every Black student and their family with the purpose of cultivating positive relationships.

The Back to School Plan is intended to serve as a blueprint for the measures, systems, and practices necessary to provide the appropriate continuity of both care and instruction to all students, families and staff as we begin the 2020-21 school year. Local District Central parents and families are invited to join the Parent and Community Engagement Unit for the upcoming Tech Talks series starting Monday, August 10, 2020. Just as our students, parents, tutors and legal guardians are faced with the reality of a new world where teaching and learning is happening in a virtual world, which requires a working knowledge and skills of the technology and platforms used.
